A worthy improvement over the original S3 and a worthy upgrade from my G4S. It has Lollipop 5.1 on clean android and the 3GB RAM that go with it is just the right amount. There is 0 bloatware aside google apps that are mostly essential to the common user.
Another asked feature was the GPS which was very bad on every Jiayu phone, but surprisingly the S3+'s GPS is always onpoint and very rarely gets off track, which in advance corrects itself pretty fast.
The dual LTE SIM is a huge plus, I get 4G signal on both my SIM cards which is a pretty big innovation considering most phones support 4G only on SIM1 and 2G/3G on SIM2.
The camera is undoubtly one of the biggest pluses this phone has. The improvement over the older Jiayu devices is very apparent, and the anti-shake feature was much needed since all Jiayu devices required a tripod or steady hand for good pictures. This device's camera is just stunning.
In summary, price/efficiency it is by far the best phone to own in 2016, excellent performance and absolutely great staff support!

Cons:The only con I have seen so far and it is not really a con is the battery life around 3 hours on max brightness.

To update or install the os lollipop 5.1.1 was not so easy but it works excellent. any people witch has problem with the camera back or front side, install the open camera from playstore and then you will see you are happy. to load the battery, choose a charger who has 2100mA and then you will see the different....
my phone works 3 month now without any problem on 5.1.1....

Had it for 3 months. Good dual Sim reception - better than my old Galaxy S4. Good battery life, easily last a day with heavy use. Excellent Wi-Fi. Works well with Miracast receiver for broadcasting to TV. Low mic volume but easily adjusted using MTK tools app. Firmware upgrade can be a bit messy for some models. Great screen. Annoying Google ads pop-up via C:Recents apps auto installing - would be helpful if there is a way to stop apps like this installing without authorisation. Excellent picture taken with flash in the dark- one of my favorite feature. Doesn't work with Google Streetwise with cardboard VR - maybe unable to detect gyro?
Headphone output lacking a bit of treble compared to S4.

I ordered my phone on the 28th of October and it was delivered to me in Edinburgh UK on the 2nd of November. That was very fast from China. DHL are very good. I love the way you can track the parcel, China Shenzen-Hong Kong-Germandy Leipzig- England East Midlands-Scotland Edinburgh. You can even check who signed for your package when it arrives. I was at work so my neighbour signed.

The Phone itself is fantastic, I'm really happy with it. Well built, great display and and lots of features. Google play was already installed. :)

Very fast mobile. Good quality the plastic. The monitor take 5 star. The camera in low light isnt very good 3stars. Selfie camera in low light you didnt see anything. BLACK!2stars. Have problem also when you recharge the phone. First time from 1% to 100% it takes 7hours.1star. Speakers isnt very good but dont forget it costs only 179$. 4 stars for the speakers.

This is the best phone of 2015!!! It is the most affordable and the richest in TOP specifications ,from all of it's competitors. It doesn't matter that antutu says it is with 1500 points slower than the Samsung S5 because I can guarantee (own experience/also youtube comparison) that this Jiayu jewel wipes the floor with the S5 in every single matter(speed ,stability,picture quality etc.). Not mentioning the fact that it has root from factory which is the best thing to ever happen to a manufacturer ,to give the customer full liberty over his android device.The battery life is also the best ,resisting even two days with mediu-hard usage.I just have no enough words to describe this Incredible phone .I just think it shouldn't be named smartphone ,but UltraPhone. Ordered on monday in France, received on thursday ! I choosed express delivery and I don't regret it. The only bad point is that I had to pay 27€ more of taxes to DHL!! I opened the box, put on the case (which is very good even though not the best) and screen protector (which fits very well despite very small gap between the case and the screen protector, what can you expect more? Zero gap? If zero gap, Perfect!!). So far so good, clean interface, Wifi is very +very good with the network speed (I am using this phone to write review). The minus first recognized is sometimes it sounds high sometimes low when tapped), the second minus is Passmark exited when internal and external read (again: read) Disk Test executed, write disk tests execute well. There is nothing else yet. Everything works perfect as I am writing this. If there are problems later on, probably forum will solve? This is probably less than an hour of using, but so far so very good despite those minor things.

Kaufdatum: 29.04.2015
Dank flotter Lieferung habe ich das Jiayu s3 advanced nun ca. 3 Wochen in Benutzung.

Grund für neues Smartphone:
Hatte nun 3 Jahre ein Samsung Galaxy S3 und der Akku gab langsam auf. Dazu gab es keine Android-Updates und wurde seit längerem über eine ROM versorgt (weshalb ich mehr oder minder auf den Geschmack von "nativem" Android gekommen bin). Folglich sollte ein neues Smartphone her.

Kriterien für ein neues Smartphone:
- Es soll eine Bildschirmdiagonale zwischen 5' und 5.5' Zoll haben. Dabei Soll sich die PPI(-dichte) nicht verschlechtern um ein gestochen scharfes Bild zu erlangen.
- Der Akku soll eine größere Kapazität haben um (1-)2 Tage durchzuhalten.
- LTE sowie aktuelle WLAN-Standarts sollen verbaut sein.
- Das installierte Android soll wenig Anpassungen haben. Also keine Bloatware, wie bei großen Herstellern.
- Das produzierende Unternehmen muss nicht bekannt sein, sollte alledings mehr als 2 weitere Smartphones im Protfolio haben, damit "Kinderkrankheiten" bzgl. der Implementierung von Android auszuschließen sind.
- Letztlich soll der Akku wechselbar sein, falls dieser nach mehreren Jahren den Geist aufgibt.

Die ersten Gedanken gingen Richtung Wiko Ridge (Akku nicht wechselbar) und OnePlusOne (geringe Produktpalette).
Da die Zeit nicht zu sehr drängte, habe ich gewartet und habe zufällig das Jaiyu S3 advanced gefunden.

Es hat super in meine Anforderungen gepasst UND mich bisher nicht enttäuscht. :-D
Die Bestellung lief über den offiziellen deutschen Store (ca. 280,-€), auch wenn man bei anderen Shops deutlich weniger bezahlt (ca. 200,-€).
Für mich als "wer billig kauf, der kauft zweimal"-Anhänger ist das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis eine Überraschung.

Das Android läuft äußerst stabil - es kommt/kam sowohl bei Samsung, ROM und Jiayu !selten! mal zur Beendinung der Oberfläche. Allerdings wird der Dienst direkt neu gestartet und nach 1-2 Sekunden ist man wieder voll drin. Also kein Ungewöhnliches Verhalten.

Überrascht hat mich (neben LTE) die schnellen Verbindungen. Sowohl WLAN als auch Bluetooth arbeiten zuverlässiger und schneller als beim Galaxy S3 (ja, ist 3 Jahre her, aber ist mir halt besonders positiv aufgefallen).

In den ersten 2 Tagen war es etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, dass die seitlichen Tasten recht klein sind (besonders der an/aus Button). Demhingegen wird das Smartphone in keiner Tasche dauernd den Bildschirm anmachen - allso ok.

Letztlich könnte das Leben quasi nicht schöner sein und ich möchte das Jaiyu S3 advanced uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen ;-) (Posted on 5/24/15)

This phone is amazing, premium build quality feel to it and awesome specs. For the price it really is incredible. The only issue i had was i needed to install Google Play Services myself which was a piece of cake as i found an easy tutorial for this online. I would highly recommend this device its fantastic. I was really interested in your mobile model Jiayu S3 4G 5.5 Inch MT6752 Octa Core RAM 3GB 1080P Screen Dual SIM 4G LTE Mobile Phone, whose price was 169,90 USD. Surprisingly, now that it’s available the new price is 209,90 USD, what I don’t understand.

The s3 comes with full hd and a new 64 bit octacore soc. Camera wise, it has a 13 mp back and a 5 mp front for selfies! There's either a 2 g ram and a 3 g ram model with 16 g rom. At 5.5 inch, its the perfect size for a phablet. (Posted on 11/5/14)
